Hard couple of days...
My sweet Grandma DeWitt passed away this weekend. This is the first grandparent I have lost, and it was harder on me than I ever expected.. I think I took for granit growing up right next door to my Grandma and Grandpa DeWitt for 20 years, I could go over and see them whenever I wanted and I should have gone over there way more.. Im going to miss her a lot.

I'm sorry Kami... I haven't experienced losing a grandparent either and I have no idea how I'll feel when that day comes. Take good care of your grandpa!
I'm sorry for your loss Kami. That must be hard. I am really close to my grandparents too and I am scared for when they go. I'll pray for your grandpa and the rest of your family.
I just stumbled upon your blog You and Damon are still as cute as ever. I am so sorry to hear about Grandma Dewitt, Chelsi told me yesterday and i was shocked, my prayers i with your family, i love and miss you all!
I love you girl. I know what you mean. As much as you prepare yourself for it, it's always surprising how hard it is when it actually happens. No regrets, you were a great granddaughter. You did a lot for her:)
sorry to hear about your grandma. i lived next door to my grandma, too. fun for you to have those memories with her. we'll be thinking of you...
i'm sorry about your grandma. they are such a sweet couple. they remind me of the couple from the notebook.
my grandpa died a little over a month ago. and of course it is very sad, but i felt very peaceful after. he wasn't in any more pain and he's obviously in a better place. be thankful for the plan of salvation and the atonement. that we can be with our loved ones again.
So sorry to hear about that Kam! She looks like she was so sweet! Love ya lots! Cam
IM sorry about your sweet grandma. Its hard losing a grandparent. I lost both of mine Deering Grandparents at a young age and it was really hard. Love you.
our condolences, kami. take care of your grandpa now, it's always hardest on the ones left behind-especially the sweethearts.
