Thanksgiving!

We had a great Thanksgiving! First we went to Damon's Mom's House and ate till we were sick, and then off to my Uncle Lances House where we ate Dessert till we were sick.. We had a great day, spending time with Family.

Utah Trips

My mom dad sister and me got to go up earlier in October to see Chelsi play vball! We had so much fun watching her team beat the number one team in her conference, Hawaii Hilo.

That same trip we went drove down to Las Vegas to walk the strip.

We had a blast laughing at all the crazy people... A group of "come back to God" people were handing out $100.00 bills with information on how to come back to god, so we took pictures!

The second trip we took up to Utah EVERYONE got to go!

It was amazing to see my sister play her last games. I definately lived out my dreams of playing at a D1 school through her. I absolutely envie her experience at Dixie, and Im so glad that she went and played. She had such an amazing year and Im SO PROUD of her. I get really emotional about her and her accomplishments. Chelsi I love you, thanks for ALWAYS being such a Great example, friend, and sister.

Update... Finally

Im the worst blogger ever! Alot has been going on in the last few months. I have tons of pics to show but dont have the time to have them upload!

So Im gonnna make a list of things to blog and show pictures of..

1: Damon suprised me and took me to the Chris Daughtry Concert SO FUN!! Loved it!

2: We went to the ASU game with my Uncle and Aunt! Had a BLAST!

3: Not so fun, but Damons sweet grandpa Stratton past away, YES PEOPLE THATS 3 GRANDPARENTS IN ONE YEAR! Lucky for us I did family pics of the WHOLE family, (all 10 kids, spouses, and children) just weeks before that!

4: My family has gotten to go up to Utah to see Chelsi play twice in the last 6 weeks! This past weekend being one of our trips! Chelsi is SO good! Im so proud of her! (lots of pics from that vaction!

5: DID I MENTION THAT MY FINAL IS FRIDAY AND THAT ILL FINALLY BE A NURSE!!!

ONE WEEK LEFT! I CANT WAIT!

Guy Mortensen Gardner

Well, this is the Second Grandparent I've lost this year.. My sweet Grandpa Gardner, my mom's dad past away on Aug 27. He was an angel on earth! The sweetest Man you'd ever known. Here's some pictures of the viewing, funeral, and the grave site. Honestly it was the most touching grave site ceremony I've ever been to. Because my Grandpa served in the Air Force, they had representatives come to the funeral and conduct a special flag and salute in honor of his service in the war. They presented my grandma with a flag in his honor. I could hardly take pictures my eyes were filling with tears, it was very touching and I was proud of my Grandpa.

For the Viewing and the Funeral everyone in the family wore Real Hawaiian Lais! My Grandpa LOVED Hawaii and had been there over 30 times in his life! We even passed out fake ones for the congregation to wear during the funeral service.

Im SO glad we did family pics only SIX WEEKS before my grandpa past! I posted below some of the pictures from that day, it was perfect timing! Im SO glad we did that.

WARNING VERY LONG POST!

So Im trying to catch up on my blogging since my computer has been broken since May! Theres ALOT thats happened in the last three months, especially since I've been out of school with nothing to do! Heres some of the high and low parts of our Summer....


HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!! I AM 23!!!! YEAH!!!
For my birthday Damon and I went to a really nice dinner and a movie. I actually had to work a 12 hour shift on my birthday at the hospital, and Damon showed up unexpectedly and brought me flowers! What a good husband!








One of my favorite people in the world got married in June! Damon and me made the trip down to Sedona for Lauren and Ty's Johnsons Wedding, and everything including the bride looked beautiful! Sedona is such a beautiful place.





(besides the fact that we got stuck on the I-17 for 3 hours, due to a crash that closed the freeway down! WE had a blast!)


Fourth of July was so fun!
We headed up to Snowflake and then to Heber for the fireworks! Like always they were awesome, and I was so excited that my family got to come up to Damons Dads house and stay for the night. We had such a good weekend!

If anyone can believe it my BABY sister Chandler turned 15!

We had a really fun day celebrating. Shopping, Cheese Cake Factory, and then cake and icecream and my Parents! I can not believe she's gonna be a Sophmore at Westwood next week! CRAZY!

My grandpa Gardner hasnt been feeling well lately.

We though it would be a good idea to have family pictures taken with the whole family "just in case". The bad idea was that it was the middle of July and SO FREAKIN HOTT OUTSIDE!

This past weekend we went to the LAKE! We had a blast hanging out with Damons Family! His dad, brothers family, and sister all came and had a ton of fun!

So the last thing that has been going on in mine and Damons life is that we got to annouce that we were pregnant, and then annouce that we miscarried. So just so I can put rumors to rest, we definately were pregnant, but are definately NOT pregnant now.

This has been one of the craziest things I've ever been through!

Heres the story:

So we found out that we were pregnant at about 5 weeks and by week 6 I had started to misscarry. We had a Doctors apt about three days after I had started to bleed, and my Doctor had acted like the bleeding was no big deal. He said that bleeding happened with some women in the first trimester, and that some women even get their periods the first couple of months they were pregnant. So he dismissed it until he decided to do an ultrasound (which he couldnt see anything on) and then do the usual blood work.

Well all of this was on Monday, and Tuesday I should have got my blood test results, but of course the dr. office couldnt find my lab work. So Wednesday afternoon, I got a call from the medical Assistant stating that my lab results were in and it looks like my HCG hormone level was too low for me to be pregnant. So I took the news as best I could and called Damon. We were both said but decided to make the best of it. Well about an hour later, I get another phone call from the medical assistant saying that they had read my results WRONG and that I WAS pregnant that my HCG hormone level was at a 560. (for those of you who dont know, an average level is about 100-400 when you are 5 to 6 weeks pregnant). So once again I called Damon, (this time crying) and said were PREGNANT, they read my results wrong! So that same day I went back into the Dr office to have my 48 hr re-draw to make sure that my HCG levels were headed in the right direction. Well as you probably know they didnt go up.. They dropped to a 450, and then 5 days later they dropped to a 220. So two doctor vists, 3 lab draws, 2 ultra sounds, and our excited families, and basically no baby..

This whole thing has been SUCH a ROLLERCOASTER! That week of blood work, dr visits, and being pregnant and then not being pregnant was SO NOT FUN (not to mention the horrible cramping and bleeding)...

But Damon and Me are trying to be positive and take it for what it is. Hope fully we will be pregnant soon, but for now its just gonna be the two of us..

Schools out for the Summer!!!!

School is finally out! I am so excited to be done with Block three of nursing school! I have the whole summer off until Aug 24! I dont know what Im going to do with myself all summer long! Some of my Friends actually graduated from nursing school this semester so I went to support them.. That was a really hard day knowing that I should have been up there with them! But oh well things happen for a reason... I guess. (Love ya Janelle, Im so excited for you!)

This past weekend we went up to Showlow, and Snowflake for Damon to play in the Softball tourney. We stopped up on the Rim while we were headed up there and took some pictures because of how beautiful the weather was.

Damon, Me, and my bro & sis in law and our niece went out to the Avondale Zoo and it was SO much fun! My niece Kinsley had so much fun feeding and petting the animals. It was really cool, I totally recommend going out there with your kids (maybe when its not so HOT!)

Just last week some of the old friends got together! (missed you Lindsey G and Jeannie).. We went out to lunch and had a ton of fun..

Chandler had her final Choir Concert for Carson Junior High! I CAN NOT believe that she is going to be a Sophmore at Westwood next year! It makes me feel really old!!
